no plans yet but we’ll most definitely let u guys know…btw, do u mind if we make copies of the audio of us playing together…we won’t sell it but would love to give copies out to people perhaps if they want to give us cash for it – we wont mind…

also would like to say that we started carrying books from re/Search publications at the distro. i forgot to tell u that when i talked to vale at the SF Zinefest and mentioned that we carry ur zines and CD’s and asked if he knew u his answer was “who doesn’t know frank moore? its good to know he is still doing stuff!”

we got a nicecast account that will let us broadcast online -though we are not thinking of operating it all times but we are thinking of broadcasting live shows and perhaps archiving it for rebroadcast later on hollow earth radio from seattle and maybe some other bigger broadcast servers…will send u some links once we put some stuff up///

* * * * *

you can do anything with anything we do together!

nice story about Vale! Did we tell you the story about him? Another pole story!

mmmmm… Would you want to do a regular show on LUVER?

Re: the taylor boys (Gi Dussault)

Well Frank, this band would be cancel on our radio show too, because it s always impromptu interviews and like you, we receive a lot of bands, some are known and other less and it s pretty rare this kind of situation. What are they scared about? Oh welll!!! 🙁

Gi

* * * * *

exactly, Gi! And I don’t think that is something a journalist [which is one of the things we are] should ever do. They are scared that the pre- packaged image which they have invented will fall apart under the light of reality… Which is selling the artist short. My job on the show is to create an environment where the artist can play/be at her core. This most of the time makes the artist look good… And often bands play better on the show.. And the audience feels the reality of the show. But these people don’t trust their bands!

hey, is there any way that LUVER could air your show on a regular basis?

Dinner Party at Lee’s!

Hi Frank,

Getting back to you with this report from my party. Also, want to let you know I’m sorry I will be missing the Reality Playings next weekend. I had made plans to leave town. Hope to make it to the next one. Do you have a date set for it yet?

The party here went very sweetly…. 15 people showed up…. with just 5 days notice! That was kinda perfect for the amount of cushy space I could set up. There were five men and 10 women, well one being an M to F trans woman. Two people I didn’t know were brought by friends I did know. There was a little bit of lively political debate with my young Irish friend engaging people in his characteristic abrasive style, that can be pretty caustic but at the same time mostly charming, I think. Mostly people gelled really well and cuddled for hours. And ate….

It was really a trip for me to have all these people from disparate strands of my life weaving together with touch and conversation.

sounds deep fun, Lee!

Will miss you next Saturday [26]at the Temescal. The next Temescal performance after that is Saturday, October 24. But I am performing at the POW! POW! Performance festival in the Friday night show [October 16].

the taylor boys

(The Taylor Boys manager wrote:)

Thanks for the booking, we are looking forward to being on your show. We do need directions. And a copy of any questions you may ask.

* * * * *

hi! This is Frank. First I do the interview impromptu. So nobody knows what I will ask. So if the boys are uncomfortable with that, we should not do the show. If they are comfortable with that, how much set up time do they need?

In Freedom,
Frank Moore

* * * * *

Its not that The Taylor Boys are uncomfortable, their management is. Being it is impromptu, we would prefer a more structured interview. At this time we will have to decline the opportunity.

Thank you for your support.

then the show is cancelled! We will play the show about the killing of Oscar Grant which we just shot.

We are from the same generation, I think exactly like you 😀 😉

ah, yes, Gi! But then great minds think alike no matter how old!

If you ever come to San Francisco, I want you on my show!

Last night I did a rather intense show about the killing of Oscar Grant by the BART cops. We had two black Nation of Islam minsters and an ex- black panther as well as other community members.
