Hi Vince,
We wanted to let you know Frank is doing great and we are enjoying being home.
Thanks to all of you guys we feel very comfortable now with all the care procedures.

I am so happy Frank is doing great! I was pretty upset when I found out you’d had to return to Alta Bates after the discharge, but thankfully it wasn’t for long.

It’s a huge satisfaction to know Frank and you guys are enjoying being home again.

I will give love and thanks to everyone in critical care for you.

I love you guys and wish you the very best for the future.

and the photos were great too, Doug! The only slip was when you wrote I suffered from cerebral palsy. I HAVE cerebral palsy… I never SUFFERED from cerebral palsy. I have struggled against the pictures and limiting judgments of society of being a crip. But that is a righteous struggle! I know that there is a rule in journalism that any piece [no matter the subject] with
a crip involved must have either of the words VICTIM or SUFFER. But it is time to get rid of this unwritten law. After all, if you wrote JANE SUFFERS FROM BEING A WOMAN… JOHN IS A VICTIM OF BEING BLACK [NOT TO MENTION BEING GAY] , expect a shit bath! ah a double standard not of your making!
