Well, we are recovering from the long, great night of the After St. Stupid Day Bash at Fat City in S.F. put on by Bob and Ann Madigan…cram packed with great, loud, surreal, over-the-edge bands. In fact it was so long that I lost a quarter of my band before we went on as the finale of the show at 1:15am! But The Cherotic All-Star Band was huge anyway. After my traditional vocal solo, Lenny Lauro of TheYear of the Wildcat with his base dug the groove deeper and deeper. Rich Polysorbate, the drummer of L.A.’s Clowns & Fetuses, stirred the tribal heart. Mike Fluffgrrl’s slide guitarist, Barney Fluffgrrl’s Theremin wizard, and the trombonist from Los Banos created musical/emotional water slides into fuzzy altered states as Bob Madigan and Michael Peppe tickled the keys, joyfully grinning. Lena Strayhorn played various unique instruments, arousing sexy giggling thoughts. The E-Salon’s own Kay played with musical toys. I crashed the chimes when I wasn’t rubbing/dancing naked intimate sex into the jamming with Linda and Erika…when they weren’t tickling each other all-the-way into silliness or “getting” the band. All through the jam Linda, Erika, Lena, Bob, Peppe, Caroline of The Year of the Wildcat joined me in a pagan non-verbal vocal chorus that ripped holes in “reality” into soft molten pleasure chaos of enjoying being one another within one another. And all of this…and in fact the whole show of the long night…was pumped full of juice by Ann Madigan standing in front of the stage very actively enjoying. This greased all the wheels!

We got to the club. What a great space!!! And no stairs to get in, spacious yet cozy. What a fun night of bands that were full of energy and life, pushing the edges, Bob getting barfed on my skitzo, flying minty green, and the guy hammering nails into his nose, oh........ Then there was Kitten on the Keys who did a fun set and ended with peeps on her nipples. All the clowns including the stripping clowns were really fun and the band behind them was really playful! Fluff Girls set was great, watching Bob function, and Stacy rock out with all the smoke behind them, Mike riffing out and the drummer pounding away, with everyone keeping a watchful eye on Bob and his mics and his beer, then Bob licked his beer off of the floor. Peppy's St. Stupid Day monologue and a quick get away to piss! Then it was time for Binky in their black and green, their drummer driving it with beats and vocals! And the horn was fun too. Then it was time for the Jam!!! Boom, it started out full force, a whirlwind of sounds, odd and blending together, Frank, Linda and I deep into erotic play, rubbing into each other, then Linda and I getting the band melting in and the tickling finally. After the jam it was really super that the owner of the club was so excited about the jam and wanted us to come back. Off to the car walking down the sidewalk with Bob singing about a liquor store and then we headed home.
