CBarb Golden's rack'O'Dawn Barb Golden's Crack'O'Dawn New
With guests Frank Moore, Linda Mac and Michael LaBash.
Last night's visit on Barb's radio show was great as always... Deep call-ins, hanging out with Barb for three hours talking about all we do, etc. Well, it is worth the pain today. But doing a three hour radio show at midnight is much harder than doing a three hour performance at eight P.M.!
Recorded Septembver 2, 2011.

The Real Dragon
"The Real Dragon" reawakens with a roar of many voices. The program focuses in part on Black August, commemorating the Marin County Courthouse Rebellion on August 7, 1970, and the assasination of George Jackson on August 21, 1971. Historical recordings with the voices of political prisoners such as Lolita Lebron, Leonard Peltier, Assata Shakur, and George Jackson will be featured on the program, produced by Barbara Lubinski, Lincoln Bergman, and Claude Marks. The original "Real Dragon" program was heard weekly on KPFA in the early 1970s. Its name derives from a poem by Ho Chi Minh which ends: "When the prison doors are opened, the real dragon will fly out!"
